Grounded in mindfulness meditation, Polyvagal Theory, and the principles of Somatic Experiencing, my approach recognizes healing as a process of reconnecting with the body’s innate intelligence to restore safety and connection. I view life’s challenges as invitations—openings to unlock deeper freedom, alignment, and a fuller expression of our true nature. My own journey with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and PTSD deepened my understanding of the profound power of befriending and tending to the body.
I offer one-on-one sessions that focus on creating a safe, trauma-informed space for clients to explore and regulate their nervous system. Through Somatic Experiencing principles, I help clients reconnect with the body’s natural rhythms, cultivating resilience and gently processing trauma to return to a path of regulation. My approach emphasizes the importance of resourcing for safety and allowing the body’s natural capacity for healing to emerge.
In person sessions are offered at Congruence Tucson, our horse and human sanctuary in Tucson, AZ, where I work alongside my herd of horses, whose natural attunement to the nervous system creates a powerful space for transformation and healing.
Virtual sessions are offered via Zoom.
I also lead workshops and programs aimed at helping individuals, particularly women, navigate the cognitive and emotional challenges of TBI and trauma recovery.
